After Hours Clubs
- Clay Class - If your child has an interest in pottery, they can join this class and create their own masterpiece.
- Guitar Lessons -The 5th-8th graders have a wonderful opportunity to take guitar lessons.
- Scrapbook Club - The students learn how to journal, crop and preserve your photos into a beautiful and unique scrapbook. Have your child collect all their memories and let them organize them creatively.
- Party Animalz - In this animal education program, students in Nursery-3rd grade learn from and with the animals.
- Tennis Clinic - The tennis clinic is an opportunity for the student to learn or improve on their basic skills of tennis.
- Bracelet Making - The students will learn how to make beautiful friendship bracelets. For 3rd-8th grades.
- Chess Club - Learn the basic skills or improve on the skills the student may al-ready posses. For 2nd-8th grades.
- Drawing Class- The students have an opportunity to learn drawing with Mr. Bill Carney of the Artist’s Garrett.
- Marine Biology - Learn about the many living things that dwell in the vast oceans of the world from a real life Marine Biologist. For grades K-3. Hillel Academy also offers an upper level club for 4th –8th grades.
- After Hours Clubs Math Assistance - This program is available for students who would like help with their math homework. 8th graders are expected to be there as part of their regular curriculum.
- BJE Math Placement Prep Class - Hillel Academy’s Math instructor will assist students in preparing to take their placement exams. All students must maintain an 80 average in order to participate in this class.
- After School Homework Program - This program is held twice a week for all grade levels. The program is supervised by one parent and the 8th grade students. Supervisors will help with homework. All students who attend must do home work.
- Basketball - Students can join a six week basketball club to learn the game or improve their jump shot. For grades 1st-8th.
- Jewish Day School League Boys Basketball - In addition to the six week basketball club, our 8th grade boys can participate in basketball league. They play approximately 10 games in the season and participate in a League Tournament against other Jewish Day Schools.
- Martial Arts - Learn Self- Defense through drills and games. Learn to defend against common grabs, holds and strikes while having fun.
After Hours Club Notes - All clubs generally run 1 hour in duration from 3:45-4:45P.M.
