"Judaism should be as sweet as honey," says our principal, Rabbi Mayer Beller. It is that philosophy to learning in both religious and secular studies, which has guided his predecessors for the last 45 years and has earned Hillel Academy distinctions unmatched by almost any school irrespective of size.
A Rich Diversity
The one common denominator at Hillel Academy is that our parents have chosen an extraordinary education for their children. We are a Modern Orthodox school open to all streams of Judaism, with a large percentage of the students from homes that are Conservative, Reform or unaffiliated. The school experience is one of family learning, with parents discovering that their children have a lot to teach them and siblings enthusiastically teaching each other.
